The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, fiends, and dark forces increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of characters who will split off from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look mismatched, but the events of the third episode show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a intense initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his own means, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the powerful family could enable the party access places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This results in them few options but to travel to the remote area in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.

Viewers can anticipate learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
